Flag of Acadiana
Not only is this flag stunning to look at because of it beautiful colors, but it also has deep roots in Louisiana’s Cajun history. It has been flown proudly throughout the heart of Cajun country, a 22 parish area of South Louisiana, since its birth in 1965. It reflects the memories of the early Acadians that were exiled from what is now called Nova Scotia for religious and political reasons.
Each flag is carefully cut out of Baltic birch and painted to match an exact representation of the Acadian Flag. The small flag will measure approximately 7.5”x10.5”, while the large flag will measure approximately 12”x16.25”.
